Title: How to Fix USB Device Not Recognized in Windows 10

USB Device not recognized” when try to access a USB external hard drive. When i am trying to access data on an external USB hard drive, i am receiving the following error:
"USB Device not recognized: One of the devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it." i have followed this article, USB Device not recognized (http://www.ieeworld.com/windows-doesnt-recognize-your-usb-devices-when-plugged-in/) but it is still not properly solved.

Have you tested this drive on another computer with the same result?
