I also find this coincidental since I just read a blog post about it. I forget which blog it was though- but it was either on or linked to from Ed Bott's Blog.

I imagine Highway workers/managers worldwide are reading the same thing and it will be changed... ::)

I would have changed it to something more crude. "ZOMBIES AHEAD" while cute to a certain degree, just doesn't keep the "freshness" long enough. I think a better one would have been, "UGLIES AHEAD", since it has an intrinsic ambiguity that leaves drivers confused as to not only what an "ugly" is, but why they need to be informed of it. Why would they need to change their driving habits? Is the "Ugly" stuck in the road? Did it tip over a tanker? Maybe it's a reference to "ugly" weather ahead? Who knows!

unfortunately, this is likely to cause more nervousness on the parts of drivers watching out for these supposed "Uglies" which is likely to cause more crashes...

Other nominees included "GRANDMA AHEAD",  "SING A SONG", and the ubiquitous  "SHUT UP".

well, it'll look kind of strange, since I don't think it's really possible to have an orgy on your own. I think it's just called self-mutiliation.

this is just as funny as making spoof Yu-Gi-Oh cards

*echoing movie preview guy voice* "When Brian Griffin gets sucked into the Yu-Gi-Oh card game.....It's up to stewie to save him from total annihilation"

back in the day I made really ridiculous pokemon card thingies
hand-drawn. Most of them had hilarious attacks- I can't remember any specifically, stuff like, with one, Half golduck, have Dragonair-

"Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage. If tails, this attack does nothing. Either way, this attack does nothing. Goldanair does 500 damage to itself. Draw 5 cards. Search your deck for a card named Goldanair and put it into your hand, and shuffle five cards from your hand into your opponents deck."

And flavour text like,

"Nobody knows *censored* happened to create this pokemon, but most theorize it involved alcohol."

I had some hilarious ones but I can't actually remember them...

Ahh yes- So many wasted hours with pokemon red and blue- and what to show for it? lvl 100 Charizard, 98 Victreebel, 79 Dugtrio... and I forget the rest of them. Probably mewtwo in there too. Pretty much the same story with Silver/Gold, except the level different is larger- Level 100 Meganium, level 70 Tyranitar.

Emulation is great.

Say there was a Gameboy emulator written in Visual Basic 6.0 even- runs good too.
