Title: CD ROM probs

Hi,

having a few probs with my cd rom and dunno whats up with it. All I know is that I get the message this drive is locked by a disk utility. When I insert cds, they are not recognised and no longer autorun.
I have no idea what to do, I have tried a few things that I can think of but to no avail. I really dont have an idea about all this pc stuff!! I would be grateful for any ideas anyone could give me!

Clean the drive.........with a disk cleaner disk......

Have you tried re-booting?

Did you have a failed burning project recently ? ?
If so the drive needs to be dis-mounted thru the burning program you were running.
