Title: How to change user in Mint
Post by: kiddo1972 on February 08, 2010, 06:21:45 PM
I installed Mint and It created me as a temporary user with no privileges. How do I change to a root user with admin privileges?

Hello,

Myself never tried Mint but then you always have sudo. Not a very good idea to mess around the desktop of root.

If you need to add more users, use useradd (http://linux.die.net/man/8/useradd).
