    * After the scan is complete, a Scan Summary box will appear with potentially harmful items that were detected. Click "OK".
    * Make sure everything has a checkmark next to it and click "Next".
    * A notification will appear that "Quarantine and Removal is Complete". Click "OK" and then click the "Finish" button to return to the main menu.
    * If asked if you want to reboot, click "Yes".

*** You need to update your Java:
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
#4 - Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 5
Uninstall all previous versions of Java through Add\Remove.

1. Print this post out, since you won't have an access to it, at some point.

2. Close all windows, except for HijackThis.

3. Put a checkmark next to the following HijackThis entries (some entries will be checkmarked to disable unnecessary startups; in those cases (marked with *), no actual program will be removed):

- *O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HPBootOp] "C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Boot Optimizer\HPBootOp.exe" /run
- *O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
- O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
- *O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
- *O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HostManager] C:\Program Files\Common Files\AOL\1133721163\ee\AOLSoftware.exe
- *O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SUPERAntiSpyware] C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe

4. Click on "Fix checked" button.

5. Turn off System Restore:

- Windows XP:
   1. Click Start.
   2. Right-click the My Computer icon, and then click Properties.
   3. Click the System Restore tab.
   4. Check "Turn off System Restore".
   5. Click Apply.
   6.  When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this.
   7. Click OK.
- Windows Vista:
   1. Click Start.
   2. Right-click the Computer icon, and then click Properties.
   3. Click on System Protection under the Tasks column on the left side
   4. Click on Continue on the "User Account Control" window that pops up
   5. Under the System Protection tab, find Available Disks
   6. Uncheck the box for any drive you wish to disable system restore on (in most cases, drive "C:")
   7. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click "Turn System Restore Off" on the popup window to do this.
   8. Click OK

6. Restart computer.

7. Turn System Restore on.

8. Post new HijackThis log.

The log is clean.

Download, and install CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds. Get "Slim" version.
Read CCleaner instruction here: http://www.jahewi.nl/ccleaner/ccleaner.html, and run CCleaner

Let me know afterward, how your computer is doing.

I ran the cleaner and it is still crawling (although going a little faster)

Symantac is still catching and AP downloader every couple of minutes.

The weird thing is my symantac shows the files sit in an APTemp folder under the symantac folders.  When I try to find the root it appears to be a hidden folder.  The number range from 00-99 after the AP.  Symantac will only quarantine the files when I try to clean I get the following error:

Symantac can not perform that action for one of the following reasons:

The files have been moved or deleted.
The computer the files are on is turned off.
You are trying to clean files in an email message.
You are trying to clean a compressed file.

Does any of this help?

Download SDFix (http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/removaltools/sdfix.exe) and save it to your Desktop.

    * Run the SDFix.exe by double clicking on it.
    * Allow it to install into the default location which is c:\SDFix
    * Now please reboot your computer into Safe Mode:
   # After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
   # Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
   # Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
    * When you have booted into safe mode, open the C:\SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
    * Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
    * It will remove any Trojan Services or Registry entries found and then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
    * Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
    * When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
    * Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt.
    * Attach the Report.txt file to your next message.

APTemp folder is a folder where Norton processes malwares.
Try to restart in Safe Mode, and delete all files from that folder.

I tried to find that folder but when I followed the path it wasn't there.  Any way I can find hidden folders?

In Windows Explorer, go Tools>Folder Options>View, and...
- check "Show hidden files and folders"
- un-check "Hide protected operating system files" (this one, you should put back on, later)
