I have a Windows XP Pavilion 732c and its a couple (5-7 years) old and I've finally realized that I need to replace the hard drive because every diagnostic I've ran finds some "unrecoverable" error and it randomly restarts. (Im confident it's not a virus problem because I JUST reformatted it a week ago) and i starts making a clicking kind of noise whenever it starts loading a program
Can someone walk me through the steps and necessary tools to open my computer taking out the hard drive and replacing it with a new one? I'm absolutely clueless as how to mess with the insides of my computer, so im confident ill screw up some how
Thank you

OR you can purchase an "EXTERNAL" hard drive and then all you have to do is plug and play.
Just a thought.
Or you can try here ,
