Title: Thumbnails

My computer will not delete thumbnails in Pictures Folder.

Usually, when I right-click on a thumbnail, a drop-down menu pops up where I just click on DELETE  -- and
voila', the thumbnail vanishes.

Not anymore:  suddenly the drop-down menu does not show the word DELETE.

I thought I am losing my mind !!!

I use Windows 10, Photoshop CS6, and a laptop computer.

The thumbnails on my Pictures Folder are obtained from the memory card of  my digital camera.

I suppose by 'thumbnails' you mean picture files... If you right click one, and choose Properties, in the box that comes up, is Read Only checked (ticked)?
