Ok someone answer me fast lol.
Please
Should I get a Core 2 Duo E6850 Processor 3.0 GHZ with 1333 FSB or a Quad Processor 2.4GHZ with a 1066 FSB what I am asking is which is better?

The E6850 in my opinion, the1333 FSB , the cores communicate through the FSB*
PC Maximum where I get some of this info would tell you to go with the Quad cpu (for the future apps which just are not available today).... I think the faster core duo's are amazing cpu's and are a great choice right now* Who knows what will be on the market in 2 years? The core duo's will rock till then, so there you go....
The Core 2 Extreme QX6850 is the fastest cpu available today :o
you could buy a Yugo for that kinda bling! :D

i agree.

For extreme multitasking, the quad core is better.
For less multitasking, or gaming, the dual core is slightly faster with a faster FSB as honvetops mentioned.

If you don't plan on overclocking, the Q6600 is better.
If you do plan on overclocking, then the E6750 is better than the E6850.
For futureproofing, the Q6600 is "probably" better, but you can just upgrade to Yorkfield later on so I suggest buying the E6750 and overclock to at least 3.6Ghz which would be very easy with a good cooler.
