2k, that thread was about USB sticks.
This is a wireless adapter.
For drivers, check the manufacturer's site (Zyxel).

Sorry, I didn't read it right.
I do apologize.
It may not need a driver, try plugging it in as it is and see if XP has drivers for it.
Even if it doesn't, Everest should be able to tell you what the adapter is and who it's made by, which will then tell you where to go to get drivers for it.

Try getting in touch with the manufacturer, see if they know what brand and model it is.

I meant the manufacturer of the laptop, sorry for the confusion.
Re-reading my post, it doesn't say what I meant.
Once more, I apologize.

I'm thinking that if 2 XP machines do not see it nor does Everest than it probably isn't working.

If there is no name on it, it is an "el cheapo" so your support will be non-existant and it is probably a worthless Chinese knock off. Get something else and don't look back.

The point is this sounds like you had already moved away from this el cheapo before you ever made the post.

We are happy to solve problems, but sometimes get irritated with "what if" scenarios if there is no point, doing people's homework, etc.
