Title: EXCEL 2003
Post by: Peter M. Booth on April 01, 2004, 02:03:17 PM
I just purchased EXCEL 2003. I have Windows XP for an operating System

I installed it succussfully, but cannot initiate it. meaning when I click on the ICON nothing happens. I get the following message.

c:docume-1\ owner\locals-1\temp, a temporary file needed for initialization could not be reated or could not be written. Make sure that the path exists and disk space is available.

Questions? Should I return the disk and get my money back because EXCEL 2003 is not compatible for Windows XP?

What EXCEL Product is compatible for Windows XP and how can I order it?

Please help, I just spent $250.00 for this product.

Thanks

Excel 2003 is absolutely compatible with XP. Reinstall xp a make sure you are logged in as Administrator when doing so or make sure your user is in admin group.
