Title: corrupted boot sector or partition table in non system disk

Hello,

I had a non-system disk installed on my computer, NTFS formatted, ~75 GB. I had to disconnect it, and then when I reconnected it, it was not recognized. After fiddling around with the computer management console, it finally recognized it, but through my efforts, I seem to have corrupted something, boot sector, or partition table, or something, because now it is inaccessible. If I click on it, it wants me to format it.

Using various software on the web, I have basically ascertained that it is now comprised of an unknown partition of 74.5 GB, and an unallocated partition of 2.49 MB.

Any advice on how to repair this problem, without paying?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using Disk Manager.... but its an Seagate Software
