You know, some of those facts may not be useless.  For example:

117. Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.

118. Each year in America there are about 300,000 deaths that can be attributed to obesity.

Should we avoid wearing headphones for an hour at a time? 

We all know obesity is a problem, but we do need to know the magnitude of it.

A lot of things on that list are true, but it seems that a lot are also no more than myths.
