Post by: 321Brooks on December 05, 2013, 03:34:17 PM
HI! There is an error everytime I restart computer. I got an error message: the devcon.exe file is missing. I am not well versed in this matter and I wonder if I can install this file  DEVCON.DLL download (http://myfixbase.com/windows_dll/4936.html)
Thanks for help!

Get it directly from Microsoft...not that site.

Could be an easy fix. Do not download from a DLL website. Trying running the command line(CMD.exe) and running the "sfc /scannow" option. devcon32.dll is a protected operating system file. This option instructs sfc to scan all protected operating system files and repair as necessary. So if there are any other problems it should fix that as well. Hope this helps.
