Title: MS Outlook "Reading Pane" has disappeared...
Post by: sammydb on March 05, 2010, 01:50:21 PM
My MS Outlook (2003) reading pane has simply disappeared.  I've tried to get it to come back by selecting "bottom" "right" or "off" under the options.  I've tried restarting MS Outlook.  I've even rebooted.  No luck at all.  Any other suggestions or possibilities as to where it might have gone?  It doesn't appear to have been minimized or "hidden."  I'm honestly out of things to try.  Any help is appreciated!

No suggestions then?  Darn it, it's really sad not having it.  Really sad.

Well, we certainly want to alleviate your sadness.  :D I think this may apply to your situation: Outlook 2003 takes longer than expected to populate the preview pane when you receive an encrypted e-mail message (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947349/)
