Title: the DOS command to run .bat file under WIN98
Post by: steve li on October 20, 2005, 10:47:34 AM
accidentally I have changed the program that associated with ".bat file OPEN option" to some non-relevant command  caused the rest of the .bat file non-functioning.
I have viewed other computers & found the program that runs .bat file call "[EXECUTABLE]"
Pls advise me where I can find this "[EXECUTABLE]" program/command ??

Locate one of your .bat files (not a shortcut). Click the file name to highlight. Press and hold the shift key and right click the file name. Select open with. When the dialog box pops up, select other. Browse to the c:\windows\command folder. Click on command.com then tick the box to always open with. Click OK. Your .bat files should run now.
