Title: Convert desktop pc from dial up to WIFI

I have a desktop PC and just found out that the city I live in offers free WIFI within the city limits. My pc is running about 3gig - 512 Mb memory with 160 gig HD. It does have  an eathernet port.

It seems you either need a PCI or USB Wireless adapter. Or a wireless router, if you are content to hardwire it into your machine.
