Title: boot mng is missing

how do i correct an error that i am getting "Boot mng is missing" when i try installing windows server R2 2008 X64 on VM ware on a 32 bit laptop machine?

You placed this inside of the Windows server, yet your post indicates you are not really using windows server. Is that true?
The error may indicate deeper issue.

What is the name of the VM product you're using?

There are a number of Virtual Machines out there. To help you better, please give details about which VM it is.

There are at least three that run inside windows. Which OS are you using? Do you have at least 2GB of RAM?
