Title: Video card help!
Post by: johnnyblade on March 06, 2008, 12:02:53 PM
I was wondering, can anyone tell me which card would be the better one? I know they are cheap, but I need to know.

NVIDIA Quadro4 700 XGL  agp       OR

GeForce xfx MX 4000 Graphics Card PCI 64MB DD

Thanks

The Quadro4 is a better card, as it's based on a newer GPU.
However, it is a workstation card, designed for 3D modelling etc rather than gaming.
Both are quite old cards - what do you need them for?
P.S. welcome to the forums.

A friend has the NVIDIA Quadro4 700 XGL and wants to switch it with mx4000, someone said that it would be better as its based on the pci. He wants it for gaming.

Thanks

Neither card will be much good for gaming, but the Quadro card is definitely better.
