Title: Zip Problems
Post by: squall_01 on October 20, 2008, 04:34:45 PM
I downloaded winrar archive files an some times the ones that work stop working but when ever I try an open one I download it says the name of the file the header is corrupt.  Could be just where I am getting it but I try other places an still the same thing.

This is far too common for poorly built RAR's and or a quirky Internet Connection...
Where are these RAR's from ? ?

Takes a while but I can get them.  Even sometimes when I have a fast connection else where it happens when I go to look at them at home.

Ummm.....What?

If you keep downloading the file and the problem is there all the time, it's a problem with the upload.

Heh. Also, why/how are you downloading videos and pictures in archives? Are they not standalone?
The only example I could think of doing this is for batch image/video downloading....
Pictures and videos don't compress well.

no I mean that I had found them as such but was thinking of that when I had replied.  No just that you have to sometimes look for the content alot more then you should have to, saing its compressed.
