Title: More hard drive problems (external)
Post by: gamerx365 on February 01, 2009, 01:19:40 PM
My new external, about a week old, is having problems again. It was working here, then i took it to my dads and it worked. After that it didn't work on 2 XP computers at school, and it didn't work on 2 Vista computers at my friends. Now I formatted my main computer and its not working.

Its coming up with "USB Device Not Recognized". I tried the HP help thing it brought up and nothing worked. This computer has been giving me the same message with flash drives and stuff for a while but the HDD was working just Friday on it. I'm just about sick of all the computer problems I've been having lately. I want to set my computer on FIRE!!! MWAHahahaHA.

Please help.
Thank you very much!

I asked my uncle. He says the arm is broken. ugh. I have hardware. Though just to make sure, I did look through the knowledge base and found nothing relating to my issue. Guess I just have to find all those files and re-download them. Ugh.

Thanks for the link.
