I'm currently running windows xp and I've noticed something about my ram. My computer comes with 256 megs of ram but when I check on it using a RAM usage moniter it says that I have 192 (or something like that). I know I have 256 because i've checked in side my pc and it on the ram unit it says 256 mb. Someone help please. I would like to free up that ram!

thats normal..... you can't free it up because its being utilized.....
-
If you were to add a 512M stick of RAM to that machine; XP, your machine and you would be much happier...

turns out I looked at the ram wrong (it aculy was supposed to be 192 megs... :-[)

I don't believe they ever made 192MG sticks of RAM/
-
Weird... oh well...

256MG of RAM - 64MG being used by the video = 192MG of RAM.
