And?

hey, what can i say, congratz for ur trolling skillz?
i dont know maybe its just me but i think a 2010 version of the guidelines would be useful, specially since many people now use either xp2, vista or seven.
besides such an old guidelines urgint to upgrade xp looks (and is) outdated, making ppl wonder if this is still an ongoing website.

I may be mistaken, but I'm guessing everyone knows this is an "ongoing website".

No. You said it needs an update, and stated as reasons that it was three years old and still mentions SP1a and SP2. I was merely requesting some sort of information that would interconnect those two points so they were actually relevant to one another- strictly speaking, how old the OS software is that is noted in a guide is redundant, and may in fact be quite relevant. You'd be surprised how many people come through here that don't even have SP1a.

Additionally, you note that it's "three years old" this I cannot contest, however, within those three years it has been heavily modified, in fact, if I recall Evilfantasy made a significant number of edits (or maybe he just talked about it, not sure) to it. It's last edit was May 16, 2010, 11:18:05 AM, which by no means is ancient.

Probably just you. I can see where you are coming from, But wether people are mostly using XP SP2 is redundant, since SP1a is still the minimum for them to be helped. If one was to edit it and remove such "silly" mentions, it won't magically stop people with XP RTM from requesting help- they just won't know that they need SP1a because the "improved" 2010 rewrite assumes that they have at least SP2.

As I noted, the "last edited May 2010" sort of proves otherwise. Could it benefit from more mentions of Vista/7? Of course. No argument there. But a total rewrite to completely remove references to XP just because it's "outdated" is silly.

No it doesn't.

Constructive criticism is quite welcome.  Copping an attitude is not.
