Title: Why am I getting this Blue screen ?
Post by: WesleyR on April 23, 2017, 09:47:36 AM: My father's PC is suddenly getting a Blue Screen. Can someone assist me to figure out how I can resolve this. Its happened a few times now. Please see the attached pic for the details.

unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

The error is connected to a Realtek WLAN adapter driver issue...

I meant to say that its a DESKTOP that I'm referring to. Sorry for the lapse on my part...

Post by: Allan on April 26, 2017, 01:03:05 PM: The bsod report you posted shows just one BSOD. If that's the case, ignore it. If you've gotten THE SAME bsod multiple times, have you recently changed or updated any drivers? Is there any external equipment connected to the system?

Post by: WesleyR on April 26, 2017, 04:16:08 PM: I've recently needed to install a Driver to allow for WiFi connectivity...and thus I've also inserted the WiFi adaptor. Dunno if that's causing the issues. The PC has had a bsod issue twice, and today it wouldn't boot up properly...and then requested that I do a system restore.

Those indicate missing/corrupt drivers.
Replace any from the MBoard manuf. site...
Re-boot after...
