I have a 1.5 Ghz Single-Core Pentium 4 with 1GB Ram that has run Windows 7 32-bit. Installed it out of curiosity to see if it would run sluggish. It wasnt a screaming fast machine to begin with, but it ran it ok form office apps and web surfing. Gaming would be out of question unless solitare or mine sweeper type simple games.

I use this site  http://www.cpubenchmark.net  (http://www.cpubenchmark.net)  for my comparisons of CPU's

My benchmark is here for my gaming systems cpu   http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+Athlon+II+X4+620 (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+Athlon+II+X4+620)
