Title: F'Fox Bookmarks backup
Post by: Woodman on May 27, 2007, 02:21:26 AM
Just a tip for the unaware.   If you Export the F'Fox bookmarks to removable storage for backup and the storage media does not have enough free space for the file, no error message will be displayed and it will seem that the Export has been successful although just an empty file will have been created.

Really?
That's interesting.
Although you'd have to have very low free space, or many many bookmarks, to encounter this problem.

I use a little gem called MOZBack...it will backup not only bookmarks but entire profiles including extensions and themes for both FireFox and ThunderBird...and it will tell you if the device does not have enough space to create the backup...

Another good one is FEBE, and the perfect compliment to it, CLEO.
