Title: Can't access the internet
Post by: heinz57 on July 12, 2008, 11:37:38 AM
My desktop running XP Home won't access internet even though when I plug in my laptop to the line it accesses just fine.
Where could I start trouble shooting please.  All Our computers are hard wired ; no WiFi.  I have tried both IE and Firefox neither works.  They both work just fine with my laptop connected.

Thanks in advance

Heinz

Also it was working just fine a couple of days ago.......

MS Security Update  KB 951748 conflicts with ZONEALARM;  removal of this update as suggested by Zonealarm resolved the problem....
