Title: Windows xp system requirements question!

Hi, I want to know if this is enough for windows xp system requirewments: Pentium 3 500 MHZ 128 mb ram. 2 mb video card and Microsoft windows me.

About the video card, I know it has to to be 8 mb at least. But I want to know if windows xp stiil run with that video card. I dont want to download any movies or watch it.

Well... As long as your video card has at least 8 MB on it, you are fine. Here are the requirements... http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/evaluation/sysreqs.mspx ... Just make sure that you have enough memory on the card. everything else checks-out  ;)

Windows XP will install and pass the compatability test.

However, you may wish to add more RAM.

Hi With only 128MB you will find thats not enough to run other programs you should have at lest 256MB and 500MHz is just enough I think Microsft say 800MHz

Take the XP Compatability test at PC Pitstop.

Personally, I wouldn't put XP on such a low specification computer.

Stick with with winme......down load intels accelerator graphics driver..........500mhz......with wime/winxp can cause problems!
