Title: Extract Image

I have some Dos program's I converted back in the 90's but I can't remember what I used and I want to use again. :'(

What Dos program can extract an xxx.img file? I only use Linux now. ???

Can anyone help me? ::)

It's not a widely used format...but i read that Gimp can do it as they are image files...

You said in your first post that you wanted to do it on Linux.  If you Google searched at all, you should be able to do it with the good ole MOUNT command.

Seems odd that Gimp would open a disk image file.
