Title: new motherboard, driver problems
Post by: staggerlee on February 24, 2005, 07:03:22 PM
I got a new motherboard, matsonic ms9087c, and a new processor, celeron d. I hooked it all up and it doesn't show my cd rom drive, in my computer. I checked the bios and it is in there. How do I fix this problem?

Can you access the internet? If so, then try running a Windows Update on http://www.microsoft.com , to download any updates that you may need... (Sometimes they give you hardware drivers) ...

Very strange... Have you contacted your computer manufacturer about these issues?

Install your o/s disc and download the drivers from there or go to the manufacturer web-site and get the drivers from there. But first , did you try the device manager section and update drivers from there?
