Whenever I reboot, I get a message asking me to end McciAsynEventMgr. This started a couple weeks ago. What does this mean? Should I delete this program? I don't know what it is or how it got installed. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that program. If you can delete it, do so.

I would if I could find it.

Exactly. If I were you I'd proceed to the Malware section of this forum and post the appropriate logs.

I'm sorry but I do not know how to do that. Can you give me a link to the instructions? Thanks.

Nevermind. I found the Self-help section and will read it. Thanks again.

I believe Mcci Async Event Mgr (with spaces) is a process associated with the helper program for Verizon broadband.

Thanks. I do have Verizon FiOS. I will ask them.
PS I read the self-help section and it is beyond my scope. :-[
