I was recently the recipient of a desktop-hijak virus. Besides installing spyware onto my computer and messing with my internet settings, the virus froze my desktop background to a message that said i was infected with spyware on a blue backdrop. The virus froze my desktop settings so i could not alter the image. I since have deleted the image and the virus (at least i think i did), but my desktop properties remain frozen. Is there anyone who knows how to get them unstuck?
