the hard drive on my hp notebook is making bad sounds, clicking
It probably needs to be replaced [I wouldn't mind having more capacity]
vista came pre installed
how can I burn it on a DVD or copy it to a flash drive?

Actually it's Vista...and the best approach before the HDD completely dies would be to visit the manuf. site and follow the Guide to creating a bootable Rescue CD....
