OMG! you're right! I was holding my Microsoft C floppy disks, and POOF! they dissapeared! Eliminated, they were! same with all my C code! Looks like I have no choice but to start using C#.

I can't find a single item on that list that is completely useless.

besides, it's not even consistent- some of those are programs, others are programming languages, and others are protocols... none are "technology" which I class as the idea behind hardware.

sources? Most people post a link....

The following is old fashioned computer technology in the "Computerworld"'s top 10

1. Commercial common language (Cobol)
COBOL has been a "dead language" for over twenty years...but it's still out there...

2. Non-relational database management system.
Pardon my laughter...

3. Non-IP network
There's still plenty of analog data that's not Internet Protocol out there...

4.cc.mail (email system of Lotus)
Now that looks like it's in process of migrating...

5.Coldfusion (the network programming language of Allaire)
OK

6.C language
C Language is dead???

7. PowerBuilder

8.Certified engineers of network
Really?
(Choo Choo Charlie was an engineer, you know...)

9.Pc network adimnistrator
No more network admins?  Who runs the network now?

10. Os/2
Not...quite...yet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OS/2)
