Title: Windows Explorer Has Encoutered A Problem
Post by: ladieda on April 07, 2006, 05:27:03 AM
this is a very complicated problem and don't know very well to explain it...

in my D drive i have all my downloaded music and films stored. when i go to this drive it shuts down every time and says "windows explorer has encoutered a problem"... if i click fast enough and reach my widnows media file, it then also says "windows media player has encountered a problem" and shuts down....

what do i do??

Does this happen with all CDs put into the drive, or a specific CD?

I see. What if you open Windows Explorer? Does that crash it too? And out of curiosity what Operating System is this?

What the - ? I'm telling you, there's a glitch! I swear I hit Modify!

This is what ended up happening. I swear, I hit the Modify button!

What I mean is, if you try to access D: with Windows Explorer, does it crash? If it doesn't, I'd move all the files you can onto the C: drive. Your D: drive may require a format, after the files are backed up.
