Title: Wireless network set up problems!
Post by: Joshuashaw on April 06, 2009, 11:36:40 AM
Im running a Dell Inspiron 9400 with XP, service pack 2.

I tried connecting a formatted PC (completely back to shop standard) to the internet via my Orange Livebox router and was looking around the settings on the wireless enabled laptop when suddenly I lost connection. I am pretty sure I didn't adjust any settings. I am no phased with the limited or no connectivity. I know it's not the Liveboxs fault as net works perfectly with ethernet cable. I tried Orange and they are as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. I've tried rebooting both laptop and livebox neither works. Is there any way I can do a system restore back to the sucessful settings on the router?

Any help much appreciated,

J.

If you look through the router's settings, there should be an option to go back to default settings or factory settings.

Might be helpful to know what kind of router it is though.
