You can't start WHAT program?
-
programs i meant the services...i am unable to start RAACM and RACM from Services..but the telephony is started working...what shud i do??
-
1) Are you logged on as administrator?
2) Have you recently disabled any services?
-
yup..im logged in as admin..and i recently din disable any service..yesterday my computer got shutdown improperly coz of power failure...after that im finding this problem..
-
Open a command window at administrator level and type: chkdsk /r
You will be asked if you want to run it on the next boot. Say yes and reboot. If that doesn't do it, you may need to boot to Windows 7's repair options.

Error 711: Cannot load Remote Access Service Connection Manager
and
Error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start and cannot start the remote access connection manager service.
There is no need to upgrade your windows.
You will have to do this five steps
1. Give full security rights to folder c:\windows (select in the Change Permission "this folder, subfolders and files")
2. Restart PC
3. Delete folder C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\WMI
4. Restart PC
5. Try starting Remote Access Connection Manager service (or VPN for those who can't start VPN )

You're responding to a 2 year old thread.

Best Solution Ever for both 711 and 1068 Error
only 2 steps works for me because WMI Directory is not there
1. Give full security rights to folder c:\windows (select in the Change Permission "this folder, subfolders and files")
2. Restart PC
