BitDefender Antivirus Removal Tool: http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall

Download the BitDefender Uninstall Tool.
First right-click on the red BitDefender icon near the system tray choose on Exit.
Wait a few seconds. Afterwards double-click on the BitDefender uninstall tool.
You will need to reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.

flameking...

There are a lot of free firewall software out there...and Comodo comes highly recommended.

evilfantasy has a resource guide listed here:  Malware Resources (http://evilfantasy.wordpress.com/2008/07/17/trusted-security-tools-resources/)

If you scroll down that page you'll find the Firewall category.

Personally...I use the Windows firewall along with my router's hardware firewall and additional malware software...so I'm pretty well protected.  I've used Comodo before, but as with any new software...make sure you research before making the commitment.
