Title: works in safe mode but nor normal mode

My computer just recently started freezing on me randomly.....and re-starting randomly and won't work in normal mode.  In normal mode, it usually freezes up early in the booting up process....sometimes just after I login.  I start up in safe mode and things seem to work fine.  I haven't downloaded anything or changed any settings.  Any ideas?  Your help is appreciated...thank you.

Boot in safe mode and install and run the below 2 programs.

I did that.  The avg75free couldn't be started in safe mode.  The setup started fine.  Any other suggestions?
