Title: Reverse ordered names

Hi there, should be a simple one but being simple I can't seem to fix it.

My problem, everytime I go to attatch a file to an email (or similar, ie send via IM)all the names of my files are in reverse order. I choose sort in order of name and they are in the correct order, and attatch the file. However when i come back to attatch at a later date, they are in reverse order again.

This is not the case when i go to open files themselves through the standard directories.

Any idea why my preferences arent saving and what to do to sort it out?

And has this problem always existed or has it started to occur recently :-?

And how can we offer to assist if you don't give the details of your setup :-?
