In this town, they can't go above 6 feet. (the shoot-up-in-the-air kind are banned, but all other kinds are OK).

In my area, Columbus (Ohio) has a huge annual fireworks celebration called Red, White, and Boom (http://www.nbc4i.com/redwhiteandboom/index.html).

All went well at the public fireworks show!
