My internet provider is Xfinity. We have a Netgear extender in my brother's room which is 1 room away from the router so he uses an Ethernet from the adapter. My room is 2 rooms away from the router so I use a Netgear wifi adapter to connect to the extender. My brother's speed test reaches around 500 Mbps while I only reach 100 Mbps and never actually reach 10 Mbps while downloading. Is there anything I can do to get a better connection? would another extender be possible? or can I somehow increase my speeds without using powerline(i already tried and didn't work)?

Nope, not really - except for ethernet. The more devices you add the greater your latency and drop off will be.

WiFi is generally going to be slower than Ethernet. Can't you run a second ethernet line to your room?

A decent router which supports beamforming might help. Try changing the position of the router if possible.
