My computer is a Dell inspiron 570 windows 7, I just reformatted HDD, still occurring, Its only occurring when I play League Of Legends ( Video Game).I've tried reinstalling reformatting I went to command prompt and put in CHKDSK C:/R
It said no errors where found. I did the self diagnostic check (before the command prompt) and it said "2000-0146, the old DST Log contains previous error(s)." I can boot up and just stream on the internet and it wont happen, but when I play League of legends it blue screens usually 10minutes-40 minutes in I've heard something about debugging? Not sure what that exactly is. I've downloaded CoreTemp it says my readings are normal, 49-55 C If you want me to give Dxdiag thing I can just ask,If theres any other information please ask and tell me how to reach it and I'll provide it.
By the way I don't expierence Bluescreen in Safe mode. Even when running High definition video in full screen on Safe mode with networking, Anyone have a solution? (By the way I'm kind of short on money, so please don't think I can cash out milion different computer parts

Download BlueScreenView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

Before working on the BSOD errors, run a diagnostic test for the drive. A short test failed means the drive needs replacement.

Ok, the hard drive looks fine. How many sticks of RAM are installed? Try using one alternately to check on the multiple BSOD problem.

Try downloading Speccy (http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download) and then install the program.  To post and publish a snapshot of your PC.
. In the Menu bar, click File -> Publish Snapshot
. Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard
. On your next reply, right-click on a empty space and click Paste on reply box then click Post.

I'm still here. :) Just got a phone call and currently looking on some speccy information. Looking on your AMD Radeon 4200 driver (8.64) at this point. The chipset and video driver on Dell site (http://"http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/product/inspiron-570") is correct. There is a BIOS update A06 (currently on A05) which includes feature enhancements, see link. The BIOS update can be used as a last resort. But try checking the RAM sticks installed first. If there are possible softwares/drivers still causing your issues, see the link below on how to post the minidumps.

BSOD Posting Instructions by jcgriff2 (http://"http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-crashes-kernel-debugging/68-blue-screen-death-blue-screen-death-posting-instructions-windows-8-7-windows-vista.html") - Follow the instructions from steps#1 to #4.

Title: Re: Random BSOD I don't know a solution
Post by: Allan on September 17, 2013, 05:36:12 AM
Multiple and varied blue screen errors such as you are having are generally caused by either malware or a hardware issue (video card, ram, mobo, cpu, power supply are all possible culprits). Please do all of the following:

1) Look in device manager. Are there any yellow or red symbols?

2) Did you recently update or install any drivers? If so, please roll back. If you have NOT recently updated your video driver, please visit the ATI website and download and install the latest driver for your ATI video card.

3) Please run full system scans with BOTH your anti virus app and with MalwareBytes.

4) Let's check the ram: download memtest (http://memtest.org/ (http://memtest.org/)). Burn it to a cd using a dedicated .iso burning utility (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm)), make sure the cd drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, then boot to the newly created cd and run the utility.

5) right-click on a command prompt icon and open as administrator. In the command prompt window type: chkdsk /r  (then press ENTER). You'll be told the disk is in use and asked if you want to run checkdisk on the next boot. Say yes, exit the command prompt window, and reboot.

Sorry to interrupt.

I had this same problem with a desktop a few days ago. After a lot of researching and changing components, the processor was found to be the culprit.

If you find no problems with the RAM, I would suggest to check with the processor once.

You and I were posting at the same time. Please follow the instructions in my last post and answer the questions I asked as well. Thank you.

I'm not currently at my house, where my PC resides, but when I get there, I will check and get back to you.

I've ran ChkDSK c:/r It found no errors, I've reformatted HDD, and the only device I've added would be a CMOS battery, and I've tooken it out and I still get BSOD.

Why would you remove the cmos battery? Please replace it and leave it connected.

I already replaced it, but the cmos battery before had died, so I replaced the old cmos with a new.

so I got it to work but does the test only test the ram in the first slot or all of them? I actually got red bars (which are bad I understand) but I couldn't test anymore the screen seemed to get all messed up, and it kept switching letters and words around to where it was comprehensible, Do I have to remove the first stick and put the second stick in the first slot?, if so please elaborate what it would look like in a Dell inspiron, I don't want to be pulling the wrong thing out of its socket, I'm pretty sure I have 4 Ram slots and all are filled.

To isolate the bad stick(s) of RAM, remove the paired 1 Gig or 2 Gig alternately then run memtest. The manual test also would be to use one stick only then check if bluescreens errors reappears on each module of RAM. Do you happen to experience BSOD on League of Legends game only?

I can be watching videos on safe mode (with sound enabled) and I will not experience blue screens, Ill do the ram tomorrow now that I know how to do it, its quite late here,

I was unclear on the first explaination, It blue screens, mostly, on League of legends, Everytime its going to happen. Occasionally on videos ( not very often) and rarely just random bluescreens while surfing on web.

Reinstall and or update your network card also just in case. I do recall you have not installed any antivirus.

The dell OEM driver for chipset and video (8.64 version) seems correctly installed. Try also reinstalling the video driver. Not sure of the ATI AMD direct driver support would solve the problem at this point though.

If free, Microsoft Security Essentials is fine and more lightweight on system resources.

Is it before the OS reinstall (09/14/13) or after?

Edit : Do you happen to use PCReg or registry cleaners? Just saw this on speccy report.

If your ram failed the test that's the problem, don't worry about anything else at this time. Identify the bad ram module and replace it.
