Check this site out for TONS of web design help! There are some great, easy-to-follow tutorials on HTML, java and more, and links to all kinds of design help & freebies, etc. They have a great weekly newsletter, too. It's written for the pro and newbie, alike. Should be something there that will help!
Wish they'd pay me for advertising for them...!
Also, invest in the HTML 4 For Dummies book - saves ya a lot of time.
One last thing: check your community college for an HTML class.
I'm still learning, but it sure helps to get a good start. It makes things in programs like Dreamweaver easier to understand why & how they need to be the way they do.
One word of advice: TYPE CAREFULLY (OK - that's 2 words!)
Good luck!
