When I try to update, This screen appeared:

I looked at their forum and FAQ but could not find what caused the error or how to fix it.

What should I do?

Just practice safe online computing - which means anti-virus, anti-spyware tools, firewall, not downloading music from sources such as limewire, etc. - and don't worry about not getting anymore updates for Win 98.

I thought windows 98 needed to be updated. I will not worry about it if it is not important.

Thank you for your help.

Get the IE6 SP1 update from the Windows site. Then all of the 98 Updates should work as they used to.
