Title: No audio since I formatted
Post by: thefonz on December 13, 2008, 09:57:05 AM
HP pavilion 7950
1.2
378 ram

Had many errors, (getting frustrated so I just formatted.)  Why on the XP it does not include all necessary drivers to take care of the audio also.?

I downloaded "everest home addition" which I will add on options.  This is not a new problem as everytime I format the sound never works but I try to stick with it!!  Anyway I think it is "Creative Audigy LS"

Windows is for once not the culprit here...
All hardware manuf. are required to write the drivers that make their components work with whatever version of Windows you are running...
Your Drivers are Here (http://support.creative.com/)

Hope this clears things up.
