Title: W2K Adv. Server C drive shows as "C" &am

With a new Abit AW8-MAX board, 2x300gb Sata drive, after installing W2K adv server with the 2 drives in Raid 1 (mirror) using either the Intel ICHR raid or the additional Silicon Image 3132 raid controller, performing new install, in newly formatted disks, after a few reboots the C drive appears twice in Explorer , as C and E. In the Disk administrator it appears only once, randomly as C or E. Of course, then system has all kind of problems. Latest BIOS is installed on motherboard.
Any help very welcome. I have tried for one week, re-installing from scratch, problem still there.
