is it good to update automatically?
-
That works. Many choose to turn off the auto update as it is an unnecessary drain on resources. Java usually only updates a few times a year, sometimes only once a year. There were multiple updates in 2008 but I expect they will slow down again since the new build has been released.

...and it nicely uninstalled ver. 11 :)

Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Run Windows Install Clean Up (a shortcut should be in the Start Menu).
Highlight all references to Java SE Development Kit, and click on Remove.
-

i set up the java update and got an icon on the screen but when i click it all it doe's is it try's to set the prog; up again i can not find java anywhere else so how do you open the program , harry
-
You don't open Java. No need to open it. It's a plug-in, used in the background of some applications, like browsers.
-

-
Do you mean on your computer desktop?

Download Unlocker by Cedrick Collomb (http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/index.htm)
Be sure to uncheck the option to install the eBay shortcuts during the install.
- Open the installation file, select the installation language and click OK.
- An installation wizard will pop up, click Next.
- Choose the default destination folder C:\Programs Files\Unlocker and click Next.
- Click Install directly. (Don't change anything)
- After the installation completes, go back to the file/folder you want to delete.
- Right-click on the file/folder and select Unlocker.
- There should be a window opening, select Unlock all.
- Now you should be able to delete your file.
