Title: Blank blue screen (not BSOD). Please help!
Post by: vitomer on December 16, 2010, 01:27:46 AM
Blank blue screen (not BSOD) sometimes appears after booting windows 7 32 until the desktop. The computer does not respond to pressing ctrl-alt-del and reset. Only if I turn off the power. In serious games, and stress tests, no problems. Last updated bios on the MB ASUS. All drivers and windows updates are latest. In what may be the reason? Please help!

What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

So you just took the computer out of the box and did not install any new drivers? It has been this way from day one?

I installed system and all the lastest drivers
explain

If you want help you need to provide ALL details. WHY did you do a new install? HOW did you do the install? EXACTLY everything you did and why and what happened JUST before the problem(s) arose.

Also - from where did you obtain the drivers and did you install the chipset driver?

Also:
Download BlueScreenView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

I have reappeared an empty blue screen after booting windows 7 until the desktop.Marked minidump in system settings but it never appeared. Also, there is no minidump folder in Windows folder (hidden files and folders are displayed). What should I do? I noticed that it appeared when the computer is not turned on for a long time
