Title: Gigabyte(tm) chipset fan?..
Post by: mr. singer on March 24, 2005, 11:48:32 AM
hey guys,

i built my own frankenstein-(gigabyte motherboard GA-7DXR+ with AMD processor clocked at 1.7ghz)- everything works pretty fine since i reloaded and optimized Win Server 2003, but the chipset fan doesn't work, and i don't know if it's a setting in the BIOS that i missed or what?... i'm installing another fan on the inside of the box to help, because i think it's overheated and pulled an auto shutdown physical mem dump a couple of times- any other suggestions?

thanks,

What's a "chipset fan"?
