Hi I am running Windows XP Pro the PC has two HD one listed as 'C" the other should be "F". When I boot up it lists both, it also shows both HD in Hardware Manager and indicates that both are working correct, however the second drive doesn't show up in my computer. So I can not use it. I have tried changing it to a master and also a slave, either one of those shows it on start-up but not in My Computer.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance

Right click "My Computer"; click Manage. Click Disk Management under Storage. Is the second hard drive shown there?
-
Yes it does and indicates that it is working, however, it doesn't show when I just click on My Computor or in the Explore tree.

How is it being reported in Disk Management ? ?
Drive letter ? ?
Healthy/unhealthy/RAW ? ?
Right clik the drive and select properties....report back.

Did you format an partition the drive? Did you try a repair useing the xp disk?

It shows Working Properly, it show the drive when it's booting up but it does not show in my computer so I cannot right click on it in my computer because it says it's not their. I have not formatted the drive infact I have tried two other drives and the same thing happens with them all.
So I feel it must be in Windows, don't you agree?

no, its not going to see it if you dont.

the drive is not partitioned. Run Disk management (Start->Run, "Diskmgmt.msc")
you should see the drive in there, as "unallocated". create a new partition on it and format it. it should then appear in explorer.
